April Fool’s Day has rolled around again, which can only mean one thing: It’s time to play pranks on our friends, family, colleagues and loved ones as much as possible. With so many phobias relating to common pests these days, think spiders, mice, pigeons and insects; the day the clowns come out to play is now rife with inspiration and opportunities for the taking.
While pest control in London is a real issue for many, for others it is simply a fear or anxiety made real on April fool’s Day. We’re not suggesting you go all Bushtucker trials and go crazy with the spiders, insects and rodents, but we do suggest having a bit of fun with it!
Eight Legged Escapades
- Dress your dog up in a spider outfit, complete with legs for the ultimate fear factor
- Spray webbing in front of your victim’s bedroom door and lace with fake spiders for a wake-up call they won’t forget!
- Put a few fake spiders into the cereal box for a surprise breakfast guest, to really make an impression
Risqué Rats
- Fill your chosen targets desk or cubicle at work with toy rats for a rat-attack like no other
- Leave a solitary toy rat, complete with tail trailing behind it; under the bed, in the bathroom or the kitchen, to see your family and friends scurry away!
Pigeon Pranks
- Take inspiration from this prankster and go on a pigeon rant
- Dress up using a pigeon mask and ride around on a small go-kart, getting in everyone’s way; just like the real deal
These pranks might be a bit of a laugh and a joke, but the experience of a real pest infestation is no laughing matter. If you think you might be experiencing an issue with pest control in London, then you know who to call; Empire Pest Control.
